St. Paul Inside the Walls  is the Catholic Center for Evangelization for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson.

Located at the campus of the former Bayley-Ellard High School in Madison, New Jersey, the restored brick Colonial Revival style mansion and 1960's era school building house both the unique outreach, community, formation and training programs of St. Paul's and the various ministries and departments of the Office of Evangelization of the Diocese of Paterson.

Young Adult Ministry at St. Paul Inside the Walls creates a faith-based community for anyone between the ages of 23 to 39 looking for a place to call home. Wherever you may be in your faith journey, St Paul’s Young Adults offers opportunities to explore a belief in God in open dialogue, social and service events, and Sunday Mass with others.

The Office of Catechesis coordinates, guides, and trains all those in parishes who are involved in forming faith and educating disciples in a systematic and intimate knowledge of the person and  message  of Jesus Christ, including parish catechists, directors and coordinators of religious education, catechetical leaders, OCIA and adult faith formation coordinators, and family faith formation  coordinators.

 Campus Ministry focuses on college-age students (ages 18 - 22) and encourages both Catholics and non-Catholics to attend our events, share our joy and use reason to discover what is true. We currently have Campus Ministry programs at Fairleigh Dickinson University - Florham Campus, Drew University, and William Paterson University.

The Family Life Office ministers to families, engaged couples, married couples, the separated and divorced, those who are grieving, and others, and coordinates and guides those who minister to these groups at the parish level.

Respect Life Ministry encourages, promotes and advocates for a reverence for life, from natural conception to natural death.

The Office of the Diaconate oversees and ministers to those involved in the permanent diaconate for the Diocese of Paterson, offers programs for continuing education and formation, conducts the formation of those preparing for diaconal service, and advises, counsels and supports the Bishop in the assignment and placement of permanent deacons.
