Be Part of the Diocesan Youth Leadership Team!

Do you want to grow in your faith, meet other Catholic teens, develop your leadership skills, and make a difference in the Church?

The Diocesan Youth Leadership Team (DYLT) is an opportunity for young people from across the Diocese of Paterson to come together and take an active role in the life of our Church.

As a member of the DYLT, you will have the opportunity to:

• Grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus
• Build your leadership skills and confidence
• Meet and form friendships with Catholic teens from across the diocese
• Share your ideas and help shape youth ministry
• Help plan and support diocesan youth events
• Bring your unique gifts, talents, and perspective to the Church
• Be a bold witness to Christ at your parish, school, and in your community
• Help other young people discover the joy of following Jesus

We Want to Hear From You!

You don't have to have all the answers or consider yourself a “perfect Catholic.” What matters is that you are willing to grow, willing to serve, and willing to take a step forward in your faith.

If you want to make a difference, meet new people, share your ideas, and help build a stronger Catholic community for young people, we invite you to apply!

Serving on the DYLT is both an exciting opportunity and an important commitment. Before applying, please review the qualifications and expectations below carefully, and make sure you can participate in the required meetings, training, and events.

We also encourage you to talk with your parents or guardians about this opportunity and the commitment involved.

Most importantly, pray about it! Ask God if He might be calling you to use your gifts, your voice, and your faith to help lead others closer to Christ.

If you feel called to join the team, complete the application below and tell us why you want to be a member of the DYLT.

If you have questions, please contact John Cammarata, Director of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Paterson, at [email protected].

Below are the qualifications, expectations, training, and event schedule for DYLT members.

Your Voice Matters. Your Faith Matters. You Can Make a Difference.

The Church needs young people who are ready to step up, get involved, and live boldly for Christ.
